Kyle Valenti and Tess Harding may have been part of teen-drama, Roswell's supporting cast, but they had a major role to play in the show's story-arc. Actor, Nick Wechsler, has remained quiet since the series ended, while Emilie de Ravin has seen her star rise and rise.
Kyle Valenti - Played by Nick Wechsler
Son of Sheriff Jim Valenti, Kyle never really got over the fact that girlfriend Liz dumped him for Max. He spent the majority of his time in a state of perpetual bewilderment, always one step behind discovering the truth of the Roswell aliens’ exploits.
Nick Wechsler, 31, has had the quietest post-Roswell career. Continuing to act, he has appeared in guest roles on shows such as Malcolm in the Middle, Tru Calling, Without a Trace and The Sarah Conner Chronicles, although a major part in a show of his own seems to have eluded him.
Tess Harding – Played by Emilie de Ravin
Scheming alien, Tess seduced Max away from Liz and into her bed - conveniently forgetting to use protection and getting herself impregnated with an extra-terrestrial love child. After being ousted as Alex Whitman’s killer, she was unceremoniously sent packing back to her home world, unborn son in tow.
Although the role of Tess was only Emilie de Ravin’s, 27, second taste of professional acting – she won the part just one month after moving to Los Angeles at the tender age of 18 – it certainly hasn’t been her last. In 2004 she landed the part of Claire Littleton in the major ABC drama, Lost; a role for which she won a Screen Actors Guild Award. Emilie also found success on the big screen, starring in Sundance Film Festival favourite, Brick; Santa’s Slay and box-office hit, The Hills Have Eyes. She is currently providing a character voice in animated fantasy, Guardians of Ga’Hoole and will return to Lost in 2010.
Emilie was briefly married to actor Josh Janowicz. They separated just six months after their June 2006 wedding and are currently filing for divorce.
Roswell Facts You May Not Know
Hardcore Roswell fans are so desperate to keep the show alive, they’ve started work on their own movie. Super-fan, Jenni of ANTARIANfilms is currently writing a script and is spreading the word on her website in the hope of making this ambitious project a reality.
The set of Roswell was a hotbed of relationships. They may have played siblings on screen, but Jason Behr and Katherine Heigl dated for the three years that Roswell aired, as did Brendan Fehr and Majandra Delfino. Keeping it in the Roswell family, Majandra then went on to marry co-star Devon Gummersall.
