The Canadian science fiction series Code Name: Eternity was created by William Fruet and Jeff King. It ran for a single season in 1999. The story revolves around the Therans, aliens who are currently hiding in human forms but need to transform Earth's atmosphere in order for their true bodies to breathe. The invasion is headed by Banning (Andrew Gillies) and his shape-shifting robot, Dent (Gordon Currie). Ethaniel (Cameron Bancroft) has been sent to Earth to stop Banning and to search for his missing brother, Thorber (Hannes Jaenicke), but when a crash leaves him without his memories a psychologist, Dr. Laura Keating (Ingrid Kavelaars), a specialist in phenomena such as telepathy and remote viewing, gets involved in the fight to save Earth. They are aided by conspiracy theorist Byder (Joseph Baldwin) and Ethaniel's fellow soldier Tawrens (Olivier Gruner). Episode 1/1: Ethaniel's StoryA man is found naked in the woods with no memory of his identity. With the help of psychologist Laura Keating, he begins to remember his identity as Ethaniel, an alien soldier. Episode 2/2: The MissionLaura and Ethaniel are captured and wrongfully accused of murder. They flee, attempting to clear their names and recover the material from Ethaniel's ship. Episode 3/6: Never Go HomeBanning kidnaps Laura's friend, a remote viewer (Cliff Saunders), in order to locate Laura and Ethaniel. Laura goes home but discovers that Banning has already been there. Episode 4/12: Lose Your DreamsA dream therapist (Eva Habermann) has Ethaniel convinced that his memories of Thera are false when he uncovers memories of life as a human and people who remember his face. Episode 5/21: Not a Bite to EatLaura and Ethaniel investigate a possible mining operation by Banning's men, but discover a new breed of wheat that has far too much security to be any ordinary grain. Episode 6/8: Making LoveLaura and Ethaniel investigate Banning's involvement in a new perfume that can be used to manipulate men, and Ethaniel falls under the spell. Episode 7/3: The HunterLaura and Ethaniel meet Byder, a conspiracy theorist who seems to have uncovered a lot about Banning. Banning sends a hunter to track them down. Episode 8/14: Deep DownWhen a diver goes missing after encountering one of Banning's crashed planes, Laura and Ethaniel investigate. Episode 9/4: The Long DropEthaniel sees his brother Thorber on a news report, claiming that a businessman's apparent suicide was actually murder. When he and Laura investigate, they become suspects themselves. Episode 10/5: Watery GraveAn ancient stone relic is stolen from a museum, and Laura and Ethaniel suspect Banning. They discover that the stone is actually an alien device that will absorb Earth’s water. Episode 11/9: Death TrapWhen Byder’s friend is killed breaking into one of Banning's buildings, Laura and Ethaniel investigate and discover that the building is an elaborate death trap. Episode 12/10: Bounty HunterByder locates Thorber, but they arrive at the same time as Myroc, a bounty hunter (Wolf Larson), who captures Ethaniel. Byder is stuck babysitting a computer scientist’s bratty son. Episode 13/13: 24 HoursWhen Ethaniel contracts a virus that causes him to slowly revert to his alien state, Laura and Thorber must uncover the source of the virus to cure Ethaniel before Earth’s atmosphere kills him. Episode 14/19: Project MidasWhen an experimental cold fusion device is stolen, Byder believes that Banning is behind it. Laura and Ethaniel attempt to locate the device and protect its inventor. Episode 15/20: Dark of NightLaura and Ethaniel steal a computer chip from Banning, engineers a plane crash to recover it. Now they must help the other survivors and find the missing chip before Dent arrives. Episode 16/7: TawrensEthaniel discovers that his best friend has been brainwashed into working for Banning, and brings him to Laura so she can help him. Episode 17/11: ThiefBanning's scientists develop a way to regenerate their human bodies, the prototype is stolen by a human thief. Now Tawrens, Laura, and Ethaniel must protect the thief from Banning. Episode 18/15: Fatal ErrorBanning infiltrates a missile base with the help of an indestructible robot. Ethaniel creates a computer virus to stop the robot, but Dent becomes infected and begins to develop human emotions. Episode 19/16: Sold Out for a SongWhen Banning's candidate for the presidency has an affair with a rock star, Laura, Ethaniel, and Tawrens have to protect her from an assassination attempt. Episode 20/18: Laura's StoryLaura dreams about her life working with "unusual" patients at the Institute under Dr. Jim Graham (Billy Dee Williams). Episode 21/24: ChameleonLaura and Ethaniel steal a chameleon device. Confusion abounds when Myroc captures Tawrens, seeking to trade him for the device, and Ethaniel infiltrates Banning’s base disguised as Dent. Episode 22/17: All the NewsA reporter enlists Laura's help to prove that a death row criminal was framed by Banning. Episode 23/25: All Fall DownLaura discovers that her father is working for Banning and has created a drug that causes humans to fall into a deep sleep. Episode 24/22: The BoxWhen Dent and Ethaniel are trapped by a militia, they must work together in order to survive. Episode 25/23: UndergroundA scientist has discovered a way to protect Earth from Banning’s shift, the scientist is killed by Banning’s men and Ethaniel is injured. Episode 26/26: The ShiftTawrens tracks down the scientist’s daughter (Christina Cox) in the hope that she may have a prototype machine. Meanwhile, Laura and Ethaniel search for Banning’s weapon.
